It is possible to embed your lesson recordings or any other video file that is stored in your Google Drive or any other video from Vimeo into your Blackboard course, and it is very easy to do.
To get the embed code for a video in your Google Drive
Go to the video you want to embed in your Google Drive.
Change the "Share" settings of your video. Right-click on the video and select "Share". Then as in the image below set your sharing settings to "Anyone with the link" > "Viewer".
This time, right-click on the video. Proceed with Open with then Open in new tab. Once you do this your video will open, and you will see a “File section” on the top left-hand corner of your screen. Click on the “File.” A menu will appear as shown in the image below.
Click “Get embed link” in the menu.
This will open the window that shows the embed code.
The following screen will appear. Copy the embed code.
Go to where you want to embed the video in your Blackboard course.
Then click the '+' icon > "create".
Important: If you want to upload a Vimeo video, you need to use the Vimeo embed code. To get the Vimeo embed code, you need mail celt@mef.edu.tr with your video.
Create a document and name it.
Click HTML button
Paste the embed code you copied before. Then click 'Save'
